Voluntary Work Peru – Our Partner ProWorld

ProWorld is a member of Intrax's worldwide network. For ten years ProWorld  has been running aid projects all around the world, and worked together with local aid organisations. ProWorld employees are well integrated into the local communities. Projects are devised and carried out with the local people. The initiative for each project is taken by local people, who rely on your help as a volunteer. Project funding, which comes from your programme fees, enables the financing of each project. Without volunteers, these projects would simply not be possible.

The local project coordinators are also contact people for our international volunteers; find host families or guest houses; put groups together; and organise useful assignments, depending on the programme length and individuals' qualifications. To complete your experience of the host country, free time activities, sometimes including weekend trips and language courses, are offered. ProWorld participants carry out meaningful work in a well managed cultural exchange programme!

Voluntary Work Peru – inclusive Spanish language course during the programme

ProWorld offers Spanish lessons, in the form of one-to-one tuition or as part of a small group, to all participants in the Peru programme, during their period of voluntary work. Lessons take place from Monday to Thursday and concentrate mainly on the improvement of communication skills.

Optional Spanish language coures before the programme

In addition, participants in the Peru programme have the opportunity to take part in an intensive Spanish course (20 - 25 hours per week) before the voluntary work starts, for one or two weeks. Upon completion of this course, the voluntary work can begin.
